Rome in four days: what we'd repeat and what we'd skip
Our honest itinerary recap — including the one 'must-see' we say you can miss.
This is a sample post — replace it with a real trip report!
Four days, 62,000 steps, one gelato-per-day minimum (exceeded daily). Here’s how it actually went.
What we’d repeat
- Early-entry Vatican tickets. Worth every euro to see the Sistine Chapel before the crowds.
- Trastevere at dinner time. Wander, don’t plan. Every third door is a great meal.
What we’d skip
The Spanish Steps at noon in June. It’s a staircase, it’s 95 degrees, and everyone there is also wondering why they came.
One tip we’ll use everywhere
Grocery stores are the best souvenir shops. We brought home €14 of parmesan and zero regrets.
